DLC涂层在ta-C的应用：

ta-C 是目前可应用的较硬以及摩擦性能较好的PVD金刚石碳涂层，其非常适合具备,也是理想的低摩擦表面系数，高的维氏硬度HV，这些涂层特性使得DLC碳涂层在摩擦与耐摩擦的应用方面表面优异.同时四边形金刚石薄膜Ta-C涂层，其Sp3金刚石含量可达65~85%之间，维氏硬度Hv0.1可达4000~7000。 

ta-C 高强的涂层硬度与低摩擦系数也适合于高速加工石墨，碳纤维，复合材料，铝及铝合金（硅含量<12%），以有其它的非金属材料的干式切削。不仅可以用在合金刀具表面，也可以沉积在高速刚、铝以及钛等材料都没有问题。
