ta-C 是目前可应用的较硬以及摩擦性能较好的PVD金刚石碳涂层,其非常适合具备,也是理想的低摩擦表面系数,高的维氏硬度HV,这些涂层特性使得DLC碳涂层在摩擦与耐摩擦的应用方面表面优异.同时四边形金刚石薄膜Ta-C涂层,其Sp3金刚石含量可达65~85%之间,维氏硬度Hv0.1可达4000~7000。
ta-C 高强的涂层硬度与低摩擦系数也适合于高速加工石墨,碳纤维,复合材料,铝及铝合金(硅含量<12%),以有其它的非金属材料的干式切削。不仅可以用在合金刀具表面,也可以沉积在高速刚、铝以及钛等材料都没有问题。
